Daylight Savings Time foolishly requires a nation of 300 million plus citizens to adjust their clocks backward and forward one hour two times per year. Organizations, Institutions and individual citizens are fully capable of devising work and entertainment schedules which will suit the needs of their activities while adhering to a single and dependable National Time. When the practice first began, a wise old Indian Chief was told of the new law, and he said, "Only the Great Chiefs in Washington could believe that you can cut 12 inches off one side of a blanket, and sew it back on the other side, and have a larger blanket". It is time to get rid of this ritual, and millions of people will thank you.
