Get rid of daylight savings

Created by S.B. on March 07, 2014

It is time for the rest of America to join Arizona in staying in Daylight Savings Time (DST) rather than change our clocks twice a year.

It is no longer beneficial for energy savings, as we have more efficient ways of heating or lighting our homes and/or businesses. It has not been proven that changing our clocks twice a year causes a significant decrease in energy consumption in residential areas or in businesses,

Other countries have successfully transitioned to staying on DST most recently Russia and Belarus in 2011. It is time for us to join them.
