The Common Core is a disaster waiting to happen; actually, it has already begun. The reasons why it is a disaster is because it is too standardized, hinders students who learn untraditionally as well. Picture this: you live in a city, where a school district is failing, and the government then issues the Common Core. Most people would celebrate there; however, it will not help this area because the reason why they fail is due to life outside of school, not inside of it. The only thing the Government is doing is hindering the successful schools that properly prepare, and sometime go above and beyond, college preparation.
