We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Get Rid of the Electoral College

Created by D.B. on December 28, 2016

Getting rid of the Electoral College is important because when we vote, it doesn't really come down to the Popular Vote or what the people want, just to the amount of Electoral Voters in each state. For example, Al Gore, Andrew Jackson, Hillary Clinton, Grover Cleveland, and Samuel Tilden all won the popular vote in different elections, yet they all lost due to losing in the Electoral College. The people wanted and voted for them. I am not petitioning on behalf of an organization, but this is a change that I believe will better the communication in our country. The longer we keep the Electoral College, the less we get to express ourselves and have a voice in who governs us. This will not only benefit you, but also benefit the country as a whole. Thank you for taking your time to read.
