The Electoral College is an outdated and unfair system of electing a presidential candidate. If the popular vote supports a candidate - and therefore more voters in America prefer said candidate over any other choice - that candidate should become president. With the Electoral College in place, we can have and have had in the past candidates who become president while more voters supported a different candidate.
American democracy is based off of the people's opinion - not the states'.
