The electoral college system is antiquated, and paternalistic. It's silly that each election now centers on some specific county in only a handful of 'swing' states. If you want your vote to count as much as someone from these states/counties (or to count at all in a clearly red or blue state), then consider signing this petition.
Americans are smart (or dumb) enough to make many decisions in their lives, and voting directly for their country's leadership and having their vote count the same from one citizen to the next should be a primary right.
