The Electoral College was created to give each state a fair say in the presidential election, this was in an America where the states were not as unionized as they are now. Now it is possible for the man that does not get the popular vote to win. Also most states give their votes to the side that gets the most votes, this basically sweeps the other sides votes under the carpets as if they don't matter. I don't care whether the votes are for the Third Party, Republican party or the Democratic Party, I feel that each American should have their vote counted and recognized.
