If you look at the 2012 election, President Obama won by and landslide, and he would have won even if it was general vote. If it hadn't been for the electoral college system, the race would have been a lot closer. In the past the electoral system has even changed elections, making the winner of the election different from what the people have voted for. Maybe this system was good in the 1700's, but not in 2014. We need to change this, together.
