Americans, given the amount of time I have spent on this Earth, I can honestly say that I have encountered enough centipedes in American basements to realize there is a problem. Upon being woken up this morning by my 8 year old german shepherd barking, I came into the kitchen to find that he was barking at a "subway-sandwich" sized centipede, a change is in order. After living in warm, dry, and moist climates in various parts of the U.S. I can honestly say that the centipede population is still at large. There is nothing worse than being snuck-up on by a centipede while on the toilet. Whether the centipedes are deported, or destroyed, I believe this nation can move forward and begin recovery to re-enter basements without fear.
