since 1913 the Federal Reserve was enacted in order to prevent "boom and bust" cycles (or at least reduce them). They have failed miserably in their cause because the current recession and the great depression happened after its creation and it is the source of corporate corruption today (as explained in the documentary American Dream). We can no longer support the greed of corporate interests so lets do away with a corrupt system and restore the power to print currency to the ELECTED congress.
