Our society is really concerned about Gun Control due to the recent violence in different states and regions where some innocent precious lives have been lost and many left injured physically and mentally for life long.
I agree that each individual should have right to protect himself and to own a Gun can give that mental comfort but if we look at the history of Police reports in relation to self defence vs crimes committed by people who own deadly weapons, it will be easy to figure out whether owning a Gun means that security is guaranteed or no??
A Psychiatric certification of sanity should be must before issuing license for any firearm
Increase the fire arm license fee to atleast $2,500 per application
No Ak-47's or machine guns for individuals other than police or military.
