Get rid of H1B and associated visas. Since I have moved to California, four major employers including banks and health insurance companies I've worked for are filled with folks on H1B visas. This is while there are many American's are still looking for employment. It would be best if corporations needing people to do jobs that they hire and train them or have them trained. As a young man I worked for a major corporation that did the same for me. I have children that are growing up that I feel would benefit from the supportive environment and our corporations would also.
If there's a need for H1B visas, give them to holders of PhD and Masters degrees.
Otherwise eliminate the H1B and associated visas.
