We petition the Government of these United States to Ban Lobbyists from having contact with legislators through a binding constitutional amendment.
This action is for the purposes of removing "conflict of interests" from the actions of our elected representatives, which have the potential of undermining the nation through corruption.
A public official that can be swayed by direct or indirect monetary incentives poses a risk to national security as those interests may become international in origin.
Multinational corporations in that they are motivated to gain profit have in the past and have shown in the present that they sometimes lack morals, scruples, and ethics.
For these reasons stated above and more we would insist in the most simple terms.
