Our politicians should not be for sale. Members of congress and their campaigns should only be able to receive a small amount of money each year (whatever would amount amount to typical gift giving). For bill being voted on, opposing panels of experts will debate to create a white paper composed of the facts and expected results of each bill. This along with the opinions of their constituents, should be their primary source of information.
