Get rid of mandatory minimums for possessing a firearm in a drug crime, consider it "non violent" if the weapon was never used in any act of violence.
Allow federal inmates to be elidgable for parole, aa well as 65% time instead of 85%.
Let punishments be determined per case, per person.
These laws and guidelines are destroying so many lives and so many families. The prisons are vastly over populated & over half are from the obscene sentence lengths drug offenders receive. A change needs to happen, and it needs to happen now.
