Get rid of the MCAS test. Too much emphasis is put on the tests, not everyone tests well.

This petition is to help the student body grow with knowledge that can be used in careers that students want. The MCAS has proven to be too difficult to deal with for students and teachers. It puts on a lot of stress and some students can't pass the MCAS and get a degree from high school because it's that difficult. Not everyone tests the same way. Too much emphasis on MCAS results causes stress. Facts learned under stress are not retained. The knowledge that one obtains during their school years proves ineffective to do certain things that are important for jobs. From the moment that you enter first grade to the moment that you exit high school, your knowledge is less practical. That's why this petition was created, to help the student body and teachers in schools.
