Get rid of, or at least minimize, the amount of standardized tests students are subjected to.

Created by L.H. on October 09, 2015

Standardized testing is a burden on students, teachers, and the state governments administering the standardized tests. They're overly abundant to the point where kids treat them as a joke. Not only that, but they're very specific with their requirements, putting restrictions on teachers' lessons, therefore hurting students' diversity of learning. In addition, many students do well in class but poorly on tests due to pressure, being a poor reflection on the child. Some students and parents even boycott the tests. On top of being disliked by the test-administrators and test-takers, it's extremely expensive to have the tests made and distributed. Computer-based tests require schools to have computers and the right programs, which is even more expensive. They're a blight on education.
