It costs more than a cent to produce just one penny and that ends up costing the American Economy millions of dollars each year just on pennies. Plus they're not even good for the exchanging of goods and services. Have you ever walked into a gas station and tried to pay for a candy bar with one hundred and fifty pennies? No because it sounds stupid and it is. Pennies are pretty much useless. A ton of countries have already gotten rid of their pennies and nothing happened. Charitable contributions didn't go down. Inflation didn't go up. It just proves that pennies are absolutely useless and are a waste of money.
