Get rid of the penny. It costs more to make than it's worth and is only around due to corporate lobbying.

The penny is around for one simple reason. Corporate lobbying from the zinc industry. Not only is the penny a product of corporate greed, the zinc industry pollutes the environment to provide the metal for a currency that no one uses, has no real value, and for the past decade has racked up 300 million in debt for production alone.
