Get rid of the Penny. Many other countries have done so and they are fine. It is a worthless coin and no one uses it.

The US no longer needs the penny. We spend more money annually to make the penny than we actually get from it. Most of the pennies made aren't even used instead they end up in streets, jars, and many other places. other countries such as Canada have done away with the penny and there are no real problems. When you pay with a card the exact dollar amount can be charged and if you pay with physical money the amount can be rounded up or down to the nearest five and the few extra cents you may end up paying really doesn't matter.
