This petition is important because it could affect the pass fail rate of students in the U.S. Standardize test are a good idea but don't work well. They try to make the test fair by giving everyone the same test but that is like saying "Since it has to be a fair test the sloth and the cheetah must run the same race. Everyone knows the cheetah would win. And that same problem is going on in schools with standardized testing. One student may benefit while the other suffers and fails.
