get rid of "tipped servers" minimum wage inequality. $2.13 and hour is wrong!

Created by S.T. on August 27, 2015

Tips are supposed to be a high five for a great job, not "here you can buy milk this week". This wage canyon may have made sense in 1991, but it's now 2015 and times have changed. More people are living frugally and servers aren't seeing the tip percentages they'd hoped for, no, depend on. Many lash out on social media causing the server to be fired or customers to be bullied because they didn't leave a significant tip. $2.13/hr turns "tipped servers" into second class citizens, begging for spare change. Independent house cleaners make $10-$50 an hour to clean, servers clean up after everyone's gone home and restaurants think $2.13/hr is acceptable? It's time to correct this inequality!
