It has been about forty years since we have stepped out past near earth orbit. Obama's plan to send astronauts to asteroids around 2025 is great, but we need some inspiration. We will just stand by and let China and Russia explore for the next ten years. We need to research new technology, which we are currently doing. People say that the economy is bad so why worry about space. Exploration is in our blood. If the younger generation sees that we really are making progress that will open their eyes. Either we get something done today, or someone else will tomorrow. We have been ankle deep in space for to long, lets take a swim.
