Getting rights for animals.

Animals need rights just like human beings. We need to stop all animal abuse in the US. This means animals owned as pets, homeless, and ones that are raised for farming and food needs for the economy. There is a humane way of putting these animals out of there misery but it's never done right. And if you harm any animal at all you should be sentenced as if you have murdered a human, it's only fair. The government can do it for people that harm others and children, why can they not do that for the animals? We are their voice, they can't defend themselves and tell their stories we need to.
