We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Getting Sufficient Opportunities for Underage Victims of Human Trafficking

Created by A.B. on May 16, 2016

According to the article, "Human Trafficking has Become a Meaningless Term" by Noah Berlatsky, over 50% of sex trafficking victims are minors. The case for many of them is that they lived in abusive situations, escape, and have to sell their bodies to survive. Instead of arresting the 'pimps' and manipulators taking advantage of the situation, the victims are being convicted. On top of this, without sufficient social service options, these victims will end up right back in the situations they started from.

I am urging people to sign this petition. Once I get 100 signatures, I will compose a letter to a South Carolina State Representative and start urging them to look at the issue.
