Give the $1 billion in ammo the Pentagon is planning on destroying back to the American people.

The pentagon is planning on destroying an estimated $1 billion worth of "old" ammunition that was meant for military use. Given the recent shortage of ammunition in the consumer market, the fact that old military surplus ammo is already being sold to consumers, and that this ammo slated for destruction was paid for by our tax dollars, we hereby petition the President to, by executive order, release this "old" ammo back to the citizens of the United States either to be purchased in the consumer market at a reduced price or given back for free to any US citizen who wishes to order it.
