We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

GIVE $700,000 FUNDING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT GREENSBORO MEDIA STUDIES DEPARTMENT WITHIN THE NEXT 3 YEARS

Created by E.H. on November 11, 2016

Our University's Media department lacks the resources and materials to adequately prepare its students for the media industry. It is an understatement to say that the Media Studies Department at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro is insufficiently funded. Students are graduating without knowledge of the current technology within their field and are forced to learn what their department should be teaching them outside of the University. Media is one of the most important industries and influences on the American people. We are responsible for informing the masses. We need funding to be able to prepare the young people who will be catalysts in changing the way that people view the media.
