Give agricultural workers equal status under the law.

Many Americans are unaware that agricultural workers are not afforded the same benefits and protections under the law as other employees. Workers in agriculture may be full-time permanent employees but because they work in agriculture their employers claim them as seasonal help, do not pay them overtime, and do not provide them with health insurance. This is where your food comes from. Yes some of these jobs are truly seasonal and should remain exempt, but to continue to keep farm workers on full-time permanent and treat them as seasonal employees when they work 60 hour weeks and to pay them minimum wage? This is slavery, and must be abolished.
