Give all employees, including part-time employees, at least 3 days unpaid sick leave as a manner of disease control.

Created by T.L. on November 20, 2012

All employers shall be required to give all of their employees at least three-days of unpaid sick leave as a manner of infectious disease control. This regulation should apply to part-time employees as well. This regulation is especially important for the food industry. Restaraunt workers are responsible for much of the spread of common cold every winter, because they will get fired if they call off without a doctor's note. Many restaraunt workers don't have insurance and can't afford to go to the doctor, but they should still be able to stay home if they are contagious.
