All immigrants should be able to get a citizenship or a permit to work in the United States. If this is given to them more undocumented people would be leaving the country knowing that they can always return in a couple of years, since from experience I know that many people are just waiting to get the citizenship so they can leave the United States. If this can't be done then a permit to work would be essential, they work either way so why not make it legal for them.
