The government has failed to equally treat reservist as veteran's when it comes to receiving health care from the V.A. When the reservist signed their contracts they went through the same training as their active duty counter parts and should be given the same respect for their service as active duty members since at anytime they could be called to active duty from their civilian lives. The V.A. has continuously changed what they consider to be a Veteran before September 1980 you had to have served 180 days on active duty, After that you had to have 24 months active duty until the Gulf wars began. Now if you served one day on active duty since 9/11 you can get health care but the veterans that served between September 1980 and 1991 are stuck with the 24 month rule this needs to be changed
