For every new law, bill, or tax proposed by a senator or congressman, do not allow any elected official to vote on behalf of the people. Allow American citizens the ability to vote on whether or not we want this law to pass or fail.
This also includes motions on the pay increase/decrease of members of Congress and the Presidency, as well as laws regarding term limit.
More often than not the current members of Congress are listening to a small group of people, or are being bought out by Unions or big business. Give the country back to its citizens.
