Give American citizens equal immigration priority with that of corporations before adding additional immigration reforms

Created by R.A. on January 24, 2013

We request an executive order, which would hire enough USCIS employees tasked with processing K-1/K-2/K-3/K-4/IR-1/CR-1 visas that the processing time is brought down to the same level as that of other visas. If budgetary concerns are a factor, this could be resolved by allowing the American citizen petitioner the option to pay an additional expedite fee to offset the additional labor costs essentially making this budget neutral.

The purpose of these visas is to allow American citizens such as those in military service to bring their immediate family (fiancé(e), husband, wife, children) to the United States.

Currently these visas take approximately twice as long to process as most other visas such as H-1B visas sponsored by corporations.
