Give the American people real change

Realize that our economy and resources are in fact limited and cannot support massive debt and government spending. The American people are not a credit card with no spending limit. Immediately shut down the federal government with the exception of Department of Defense and other critical government services as long as necessary to reduce the federal deficit to zero. Once that goal has been reached, put congress back to work by working with them to create a streamlined budget.
Realize that “special interests” are just that, special, aka not normal and therefore are not entitled to anything above what anyone else has, gets or earns. These groups can be taken care of by support from private citizens, let them vote for special interests with their own dollars as they see fit.
