Give Americans a thorough understanding of the true importance of our government, and how & why it serves us

I believe that government is a helping hand. It serves all people in ways many do not realize. 223,000 jobs were created to help the unemployed. The Supreme Court ruled that same sex marriage is legal throughout the US to help gays and lesbians get married. The Startup Act was signed to help immigrants. Yet criticism about the government still lingers. We may not agree on every issue or every answer, but with the right knowledge and support we can get things done faster. That starts with an adequate understanding of the government, how it works and why it's there. After all, government is of the people, by the people, and for the people, as stated in the Declaration of Independence.
