Noting that the United States already has robust gun laws in place, but powerful gun lobby organizations have coerced Congress to neuter the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms' ability to enforce those laws, it is necessary to petition the Executive branch of the United States government to give the ATF the authority, manpower, and resources to actually enforce gun control laws already on the books, as well as further laws enacted in the future. Without the authority, manpower, and resources to enforce existing laws, any new laws enacted will be effectively meaningless.
