KNOW THE TRUTH: The Federal Gov. has taken away, without prior notice, HIV/AIDS funding for all that exceed an income level of $46 thousand per year.
HIV/AIDS medications run between 20 & 30 thousand dollars per year for the rest of an infected persons life. Under "OBAMA CARE", we cannot afford to pay the HIGH PREMIUMS/DEDUCTIBLES for insurance coverage to continue to have access to our medications.
This financial class has been told to: "get a roommate, cancel your cable TV, sell personal belongings and/or quit your job for a lower paying one in order to qualify again"
This is NOT an exaggeration! I personally have been kicked out of the Ryan White program, as well as ADAP after 10 years because my salary is too high(I make $47k)
