As a human, I am horribly impacted by the experiences that first responders go through every day. With recent tragedies such as the Sandy Hook shooting and the murder of firefighters, it is imperative that first responders get protection for the risks they take daily. Also, 9/11 first responders should get the benefits of the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act because they gave their best effort to save other people and should receive government benefits for doing so. With government spending going to many unnecessary, money should be given for injuries and health problems as a result of 9/11 and many first responders should be given the treatment they deserve for their efforts.
