Give citizens the right to opt out of USPS mail due to personal, environmental, or any reason at all.

Created by M.J. on January 07, 2016

The USPS mail service is outdated. Citizens receive a large amount of junk mail which is mainly advertising for credit cards, insurance, and cash loan offers.

Every single one of these offers can be sent through electronic mail, but these companies are still sending mail through the outdated paper services which is destroying the environment and unduly causing many citizens hardship.

The government should allow citizens with knowledge of electronic mail systems to opt out of traditional postal systems.

If the USPS is still able to compete with other carriers by delivering packages, it should be allowed to do so, but paper mail is no longer necessary and causes serious damage to the environment.
