give a complete pardon to all who are in prison for the "crime" of using or selling marijuana.

The war on drugs has failed. Thousands of non violent persons, particularly, of color are in prison simply because they used or were in possession of a relatively harmless drug, marijuana. Their felony convictions destroy lives; they cannot vote, getting a job is nearly impossible and they are forever cast into the underclass of America. Mr. President, issue this pardon. Many of your predecessors have so for much more unsavory characters. Let this be a part of a great legacy. Don't worry about the Republicans; they won't like any thing you do. J Mike Pryor
