I know of no other "job" that can vote themselves a pay raise except Congress. I find it appalling that they receive much higher wages than the average American.
This Congress has cut services to the poorest of our nation and has hurt our overall economic growth, it's time they get a salary cut as well.
I would move for our Congress to receive minimum wage with raises based on merit (GDP growth, raise in average wages, lower real unemployment number, etc).
