The cost of living affects Federal employees just as much as the civilian non Federal workforce and military personnel. Federal employees provide valuable services to the American public and the Federal government. We are not faceless bureaucrats but your neighbors, relatives, and people in your community. We have not had a cost of living raise in 3 years and the latest statistics show Federal workers are lagging behing white collar non Feds by 35% in pay disparity. Military personnel deservedly receive COLAs. The American public deserves the best civilian workers too, please ensure we can be retained by having comparable pay for comparable work. Thanks!
