Give Drivers with Suspended Drivers Licenses A Second Chance.

Being a person with a suspended driver's license as well as a father, son and brother I know first hand of the huge burden, inconvenience and stress that comes along with not having a valid driver's license. Although possessing a valid driver's license is a privilege, I feel as though it is counterproductive to suspend someones license for petty or misdemeanor crimes especially in cases that don't involve driving or anything to do with a vehicle or being in a vehicle like not payment of child support or possession of a small amount of marijuana etc. I feel as though giving individuals at least one opportunity to have a second chance or fresh start would benefit the individual as well as the community in the sense that it would result in less illegal drivers and provide safer commuting.
