We believe that Edward Snowden has done a great deal to protect the civil liberties of American citizens by drawing attention to the unlawful spying on American citizens by the NSA. We therefore believe that Edward Snowden deserves the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his efforts to protect freedom and civil liberties.
