The idiots who get themselves locked up in prison get 3 meals a day, free dental, medical care, rent free. While our senior citizens have to pay to be in a retirement home, or assisted living I should say. They still have to pay for their medicines that their insurance cant/wont cover. Why should people who do bad get a better life than our elders. All it does is encourage more bad behavior from the convicts because life can be easier and cheaper in prison than the outside world. Also slightly off topic, the prison food is more nutritious than school lunches which should also be addressed.
