Equal rights for fathers is important, and that would be the reason behind my putting together this petition. I am initiating this petition because I believe the court system is antiquated and is set up to discriminate against fathers. I believe there have been too many cases where the father was a more reputable individual and had a more stable home environment and yet custody was awarded to a mother who had a far less stable home environment. I believe that it is important to review each case individually. Unfortunately this does not happen often enough and this has lead to there being too many occasions where the court has awarded custody to a mother without accurately reviewing the father's situation.
The purpose of this petition is to raise awareness that dad's deserve equal treatment
