There are approximately 330 million people residing in America. The USA has about 5% of the worlds population, however it accounts for 50% of all military forces. In the last 13 years (2001-2014) America has spent over 1.8 trillion dollars in warfare. It is believed that by 2033 America will spend 50 billion dollars on warfare per year. If the Obama Administration (or any other president) can spend so much money on pointless wars they should be able to implement a plan to abolish poverty.
