This third chamber will allow the Governor of every State one vote, but could save the country from going over the fiscal cliff and, in addition, it would serve to make certain the citizens of each State are truly represented during negotiations.
We no longer live in the Colonial period of our history so travel is not an impediment to voting. So a Governor has the option to communicate electronically between members of their newly conceived chamber and do what is right for their State and AMERICA.
This will take away the power of the special interest, because it is now about the Rights of a State and not the individual politician. And Governors will do what they can to protect their State and their own economies.
