After WW II our government helped GIs get a higher education at very low costs. It slowed down the need for job creation and created the most prosperous time for the middle class in history.
When government policies supported the middle class EVERYONE got rich. This has been a great legacy for everyone.
To compete in a world economy we need quality higher education.
