Give federal employees a day off on Monday, December 24, 2012 (Christmas Eve).
I agree with other petitioners that Federal Employees have taken a big hit in their pay and it keeps getting attacked. Even SES getting bonuses and awards and congress seem to be failing in doing their job and it is funny that at the same time you all (Whith House and Congress and High Level Government) criticize industry when CEOs of companies accepting TARP funds get their bonuses but you do the same thing.
I have been planning the Holiday Party for my office for three years now and you can see the toll that the pay mess has taken in the employees through lower participation and angry employees. This would definitely help somewhat.
